Step 6: Removing Acrylic Nails

Its now time to learn the steps of removing acrylic nails.

I much prefer designing acrylics but removal is needed so that we can create new designs!! Smiley Face

Acrylic Nail Removal Steps

  1. Soak a cotton pad with pure acetone
    2. Cotton Pads and Alfoil Soak Cotton Pad with pure acetone
  2. Wrap a cotton pad around the acrylic nail
    3. Wrapping Acrylic with Cotton Pad
  3. Wrap alfoil over the cotton pad
    4. Wrap Acrylic with Alfoil
  4. Once all of your acrylic fingernails are covered with alfoil, wait for 30 minutes
    5. Completed Wrap - wait half an hour
  5. Remove the alfoil and cotton pad from the 1st finger and start gently scraping off the softened acrylic with an orange stick.
    6. Gently Removing Acrylic Nails - Push softened acrylic
  6. Once you have removed as much acrylic as possible from the 1st finger, put the same cotton pad and alfoil back on again.
  7. Repeat Step 5 & 6 for each finger, continuing the process until all of the acrylic nails have been removed.
    8. Gentle Removal of Acrylic Nails - Push again after 10 min
  8. Wash your hands and apply nail strengthener (do not follow this step if you are wanting to apply new acrylic nails).
    9. Apply Nail Strengthener
