Step 3 - Foot Massage


This Foot Massage technique is perfect for tired legs, puffy legs, cold legs & scaly feet.

What you need is...

  • Massage cream such as body cream and oil (any massage oil or olive oil for cooking)
  • Steamed towel (soak a towel in water, wring tighly and put it in the microwave for 1 minute. Please be careful not to burn yourself with this hot towel!!

Leg & Foot Massage Procedure

  1. Take cream (approx 1 inch / 3cm in diameter) and rub in between your hands to warm up the temperature.
  2. Spread the cream across the foot and calf of one leg.
  3. Massage your toes – massage each toe with your thumb and index finger with a pinching and circular motion.
  4. Push up the sole of your foot firmly with your thumb. Repeat this 3 to 4 times.
  5. Massage Sole
  6. Rubbing the arch in a circular motion will make you feel very good.
  7. Massage the ball of the foot in a circualr motion.
  8. Massage Balls of Feet
  9. Repeat squeezing and releasing, starting from above the ankle and progressing up the calf, as if your pumping fluid up the calf. Repeat this 3 to 4 times.
  10. Repeat steps 1 to 7 on the other leg and foot.
  11. Wipe off any excess massage cream with a steamed towel.
