Step 3 - Foot Massage
This Foot Massage technique is perfect for tired legs, puffy legs, cold legs & scaly feet.
What you need is...
- Massage cream such as body cream and oil (any massage oil or olive oil for cooking)
- Steamed towel (soak a towel in water, wring tighly and put it in the microwave for 1 minute. Please be careful not to burn yourself with this hot towel!!
Leg & Foot Massage Procedure
- Take cream (approx 1 inch / 3cm in diameter) and rub in between your hands to warm up the temperature.
- Spread the cream across the foot and calf of one leg.
- Massage your toes – massage each toe with your thumb and index finger with a pinching and circular motion.
- Push up the sole of your foot firmly with your thumb. Repeat this 3 to 4 times.
- Rubbing the arch in a circular motion will make you feel very good.
- Massage the ball of the foot in a circualr motion.
- Repeat squeezing and releasing, starting from above the ankle and progressing up the calf, as if your pumping fluid up the calf. Repeat this 3 to 4 times.
- Repeat steps 1 to 7 on the other leg and foot.
- Wipe off any excess massage cream with a steamed towel.
