Acrylic Nail Products
These are the products that are used in the Acrylic Nail tutorials on this website.
- Anti-Bacterial Spray / Wipe

- It is used top disinfect your hands and other equipment. It is recommended to use a hospital grade disinfection for maximum effectiveness.
- Emery Board

- It is used to make natural nails short in a gentle way. The recommended grit number is around 240.
- Cuticle Knife

- It is used to push up and remove excess cuticle. Please control the pressure and be gentle on your nails and cuticles.
- Nail Files

- They are used to shorten artificial nails or remove bumps from their surface. The coarseness of each nail file is shown by numbers. The lower the grit number is, the coarser the file is.
- Dust Brush

- It is used to remove dust quickly and effectively. A piece of gauze can be used instead.
- Paper Towel

- These are used to clean things and also to adjust the amount of water in the paint / acrylic nail brush.
- Pre-Primer

- It adjusts the pH balance of the nail and makes the applied nail polish last longer.
- Primer

- It is used during natural nail preparation for acrylic nails to prevent bacterial growth under the acrylic nails. Care should be taken as it is highly acidic and can burn the skin. See Safety Precautions of Acrylic Nails.
- Nail Forms

- They are used for acrylic nail extensions as a guideline for acrylic nail application.
- Small Scissors

- It is useful to cut small things accurately.
- Dappen Dish

- It is used as a acrylic liquid container. The lid helps the majority of the smell from going into the air.
- Orangewood Stick

- It is used to push up the cuticle or to correct imperfections after the nail polish application. It can be sharpened with a coarse nail file.
- Acrylic Liquid (Monomer)

- It is used to make acrylic mixture combined with acrylic powders. See Safety Precautions of Acrylic Nails.
- Acrylic Powders (Polymer)

- These are used for acrylic nail enhancement. There are a variety of colours and textures available. See Safety Precautions of Acrylic Nails.
- Acrylic Nail Brushes

- Brushes made for acrylic products. The acrylic nail brush cleaner should be used to clean, not with water.
- Acrylic Brush Cleaner

- It is used to clean brushes for acrylic nails.
- Sponge Buffers

- They are used to make the surface of artificial nails smooth. The coarseness of each buffer is shown by the numbers. The lower the number, the coarser the buffer is.
- Shiners

- It is used to make the artificial nail surface smooth and shiny.
- Cuticle Oil

- It will nourish and moisten the cuticle area to prevent dry skin and future hangnails.
- White Tips (Half Well)

- They are used to perform Acrylic French Nails. The well part can be filed down to customise the shape.
- Nail Glue

- The glue made for nails.
- Cotton Buds

- It is used to wipe things. A Cotton Stick can be used instead.
- Nail Tip Cutter

- It is used to adjust the length of nail tips or artificial nails.
- Nail Machine

- It is very useful to file down artificial nails, especially during fill-in or back fill treatment.
- Cotton Rounds

- They are used to remove artificial nails along with acetone and aluminium foil to wrap. It creates less fluffiness compared to cotton wool.
- Aluminium Foil

- They can be used as a palette or to wrap things to protect them.
- Acetone

- It is used to remove artifical nails. See Safety Precautions of Acrylic Nails.
